I swung by Zara after work and I found this t-shirt with studded detailing on the shoulders. But what appealed more to me was the coloring on the fabric, which I call the “Eyjafjallajökull effect.”
Pretty cool and timely, no? It’s also available in blue. Here’s me trying it on at the Zara fitting room.
Apropos Eyjafjallajökull, I hope the ash spewing stops already! My friend Maureen is visiting from Milan coming Friday and I hope she makes it here!

The Eyjafjallajökull effect? ROTFLMFAO!!!
I like but the neckline is so mababa. I need cleavage for that. LOL
Knut will kill me, but i must say that ur forearm is gorgeous. lol.
Love the shirt also, the stud on the shoulder remind me Burberry Prorsum.
@ Mario – fresh out of Reykjavik.
@ Allan – haha! relaxed fit for summer.
@ Eric – no worries, haha! it looks dirty but it looks pretty in person.
Very nice. Parang sinadya yung mantsa. Haha! I still refer to it as “the volcano”. Having a hard time saying the name.
Mark, this was also one of the tees I like from Zara’s current collection. But it’s too short for the Small size and too wide for Medium for me…
Grrrrr…
Looking good!
@ Ernie – I had to google this volcano’s name, can’t type it on my own! LOL.
@ Kevin – Thanks! Ah, I see what you mean. Did you get the jacket?
I was at Zara the other day and almost ended up buying the exact same one!
What stopped you then?
lots of balenciaga charm with this subtly stubbled creation. zara always stay on trend but also offer slick class to the menswear pallete.

Balenciaga is for the gods, Zara for the mortals.
I love the colours of the shirt but something about studs and zara that has never worked out for me. I find that their attempts to stud things usually looks cheap and sometimes h&m looks better…which blows my mind.
It’s weird, but I had the feeling that I commented on this post days ago. Anyway, I like the shirt. It looks dirty and all, but it’s definitely stylish.
@ Julia – indeed the color appealed to me more than the studs.
@ Charles – hehe, had an accident with the shirt last Saturday. I got candle wax stains on it! >.<
