the eyjafjallajökull effect

I swung by Zara after work and I found this t-shirt with studded detailing on the shoulders. But what appealed more to me was the coloring on the fabric, which I call the “Eyjafjallajökull effect.”

Pretty cool and timely, no? It’s also available in blue. Here’s me trying it on at the Zara fitting room.

Apropos Eyjafjallajökull, I hope the ash spewing stops already! My friend Maureen is visiting from Milan coming Friday and I hope she makes it here!

  1. Knut will kill me, but i must say that ur forearm is gorgeous. lol.
Love the shirt also, the stud on the shoulder remind me Burberry Prorsum.

  2. @ Mario – fresh out of Reykjavik. ;)

@ Allan – haha! relaxed fit for summer. ;)

@ Eric – no worries, haha! it looks dirty but it looks pretty in person. :)

  3. @ Ernie – I had to google this volcano’s name, can’t type it on my own! LOL.
@ Kevin – Thanks! Ah, I see what you mean. Did you get the jacket?

  4. I love the colours of the shirt but something about studs and zara that has never worked out for me. I find that their attempts to stud things usually looks cheap and sometimes h&m looks better…which blows my mind.

  5. @ Julia – indeed the color appealed to me more than the studs.

@ Charles – hehe, had an accident with the shirt last Saturday. I got candle wax stains on it! >.<
